She completed her family practice residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Chandrasena loves family medicine and prides herself on the great connection she shares with her patients. Her passion is preventive wellness and helping her patients achieve their best health.

David Ruiz, M.D.

Dr. Ruiz earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Redlands in California and obtained his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He stayed in Los Angeles to complete a three-year Family Medicine Residency Program at White Memorial Medical Center.
He and his wife moved to the Central Coast to raise their three boys twenty years ago. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and biking. Dr. Ruiz plays the guitar and sings in his church choir. Continuing his musical interests, he has sung with the San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble for seven years. As a Board Certified Family Physician, Dr. Ruiz provides high quality medical care with an emphasis on prevention. He works closely with his patients to help them achieve and maintain healthy habits to nurture mind, body, and spirit. |
